I recently received a new desktop PC for the office which came preinstalled with Vista Business. the first thing i noticed was that i has to confirm everything that i did.

Yes i want to download firefox.
Yes i am sure i want to download firefox.
Yes now that i have downloaded firefox i do want to run the file.
Yes now that i have run the firefox install file i do actually want to install firefox.

ARGH! 5 minutes and a Google later i discovered that you can turn this constant questioning off.

What i am not sure of however if turning off the User Account Control is the same as dropping the soap in a prison shower. Who knows what could happen!?
